Improving The User Experience

So we have all come across websites that tend to either load too slowly or just does not allow us to navigate easily through it. That’s where you tend to lose out on visitors – because let’s face it, no one wants to come across a website that isn’t designed keeping in mind the overall user experience. With that said, check out some of our tips and tricks on how you can make sure that your website is a 10/10 when it comes to the user experience!

Navigation

Don’t you just hate websites that are hard to navigate? Where you are unable to find the relevant links easily? Everyone does – no one wants to come across a website where information is hard to find or where the user has to go through countless links to come across the page they were looking for. Therefore, navigation should be a major focus point when you are designing a site.

Highlight

Some websites tend to have different features that they include however, according to statistics they tend to go unnoticed by the user. The reason being that these features weren’t made obvious. Color -code those features by using a color that will make them stand out. You could even research into your industry and find out which colors are being used and how they are incorporated on a website.

Easy Access to Support

No one wants to spend a lot of time searching for a way to contact customer support on a website if they have any problems. Therefore, make sure that there is a chat option prominently displayed on the website so that the users can spot it easily and get instant feedback on any queries.

Availability

Just having a chat option displayed on the page is not enough – you need to make sure that you have customer support staffs who are dedicated towards providing support to the customers 24/7.

Stay Away From the Imposing Videos

This doesn’t mean that you should not add video content on your website just that you should avoid imposing these videos on your users. One way you could do that is by keeping the volume mute on a video that is set to auto-play and use captions instead.

One thing to remember is that the more user-friendly a website it, the higher number of visitors you will tend to have on your website. Therefore, keep the content to a minimum, design a clean interface, and provide easy navigation along with the above tips in mind to improve your site’s overall experience.
