Check out the stories of the top 5 brands and how their logos have managed to create an impact in their overall success.
APPLE
Apple has managed to achieve what no brand has been able to do – creating a legacy that cannot be matched. Unknown to many people, the logo that we see used by Apple today was not the original logo. Rather, one of the first logos that Apple came out featured Sir Isaac Newton sitting under an apple tree – giving the impression of Apple’s focus towards innovation. However, the logo failed to make an impression on the customers and the sales – or the lack of it – reflected that. That’s when they decided to go the other way and came up with a colorful apple logo with a ‘byte’ taken out of it, promoting the brand as fun and cool brand. The result was an astonishing rise in sales and the rest is history!
Not a lot of brands have been able to reach the legacy that Apple has managed to create for itself but Google has managed to come pretty close. The logo is pretty simple with the word GOOGLE spelled out in multicolor but its simplicity has been one of the main factors contributing towards its success, making it a household name a giant amongst the big brands.
NIKE
One of the most recognized logos in the world of sportswear has to be the Nike logo. The “swish” logo was chosen by Nike to represent speed and motion and has become one of the most powerful and popular logos in the world. People from all over the world recognize the “swish” logo easily, associating it with the popular brand instantly.
AMAZON
The logo used by Amazon has greatly contributed towards its success. What started out as an online bookstore soon became the “it” place to go to find anything to purchase online. And the logo of this giant is an apt representation of – depicting the words Amazon.com with a yellow arrow pointing from A to Z, symbolizing the giant’s dealings in every type of merchandise. Now that’s what we call a logo “on point”.
